OUR PHILOSOPHY
We are passionate about football and love to help children gain a better understanding of their strengths and areas of development. Coaching requires strategic direction, so PYTHONS FC implements one of the key Football Federation Australia (FFA) approaches into our curriculum - Perception / Decision / Execution. This is where we ensure that each player perceives what is happening around them, processes the information, decides what should be done then executes an action. Our programs, based on the FFA curriculum and combined with wisdom around the enjoyment of the game, have been developed after decades of coaching experience.

At PYTHONS FC we choose to utilise the exceptional surface of the Pearce 2 synthetic grass pitch for all of our sessions. The facility, commonly considered Canberra's finest (and therefore safest) pitch, is a high-calibre training and playing field that offers safety, security and comfort. It is fully fenced and offers ample cover for parents. For the younger age groups, such as our U6s and U7s, the synthetic surface ensures the players remain gloriously clean for the drive home.
